its stunning fields of sunflowers during the summer months

Nearby are the famous Vinyards of Bordeaux, Bergerac, St. Emilion and Cognac. Very close to the river Dronne which and has much to offer along its banks, great restaurants, pretty villages, a "sandy beach", small water park, fishing, canoeing. 

The sights of the Dordogne can easily be explored including  medieval towns like Perigreux, famous painted caves and the largest market in the Dordogne  market at Riberac.
